Welcome to Hilltop

Sought-after status neighborhood with tree-lined streets

Hilltop is often referred to as one of Denver’s “status symbol” neighborhoods, much like Cherry Hills Village or Country Club. This is mostly due to Hilltop’s position east of Cherry Creek and Colorado Boulevard. It affords some of the most expensive, sought-after homes in Denver, nestled on impressive tree-lined streets.

What to Expect

High-income residents, an elevated scenic position, minutes from all the action.

This neighborhood’s namesake denotes its elevated position, which was originally considered scenic countryside before it transformed into the neighborhood it is today. The area sits near a variety of Denver attractions and parks, and has several Jewish synagogues, a Greek Orthodox Church, and many other churches nearby. For decades, Hilltop earned the reputation as “the Doctor’s neighborhood” because many physicians moved here to be near local hospitals. Today, it retains a steady population of professional, high-income residents.

The Lifestyle

Commuter-friendly, family-oriented.

Buyers look to Hilltop for its unique mix of architecture and prime location near the shops and restaurants of Cherry Creek, as well as Rose Hospital and Medical Center, the VA hospital, the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and several spacious local parks. Commuters can access various parts of the city with ease, while most residents enjoy the family-oriented lifestyle. A unique mix of older and traditional homes coupled by stylish new builds, make it a place with something for everyone.

Unexpected Appeal

Wide, safe streets.

It wasn’t until the 1930s that Hilltop began to take shape, which directly correlates to its wide, safe streets. It was one of the first neighborhoods in Denver to be planned around the use of automobiles instead of streetcars, making it stand out as a great place for families who seek larger set-back lots with added space.

The Market

Grand old estates and new builds with designer touches.

A total of 22 different architectural styles are on full display in Hilltop, including Tudor, English and Norman Cottage, Mediterranean Revival, Georgian, Regency, and Mid-Century Modern. Despite its eclectic home styles, Hilltop’s home prices remain the same. Home values hold strong here with many priced just under a million to high-end residences in the multi-millions.
